The Hybrid system works in concert with the active fuel management system of the engine whereby under light driving 4 of the 8 cylinders shut down enabling the engine to be even more fuel efficient compared to other American Cars on the road today.

The electric power required to power the battery system is generated by the vehicle itself, when the brakes are applied the energy produced is stored in the 300 volt battery, the stored energy is called upon when required by what is known as the regenerative brake cycle.

The system is smooth and seamless in operation and has been adapted for this luxury passenger vehicle from technology already in use in fleets of Hybrid buses on the roads in many of the major Cities in the US.
